Venice By day. Venice is only 2 and a half hours away by car from here.
Venice By night. The picture is crooked because
I had to use a long exposure
without a flash to get the light,and in the absence of a tripod
I settled it on the side of a very famous bridge called
the Ponte dei Sospiri, Bridge of Sighs.
This is Dermot O Reilly, an Irish friend who
came to visit, in Graz.

If you look Far enough you can see Dublin.
He is sitting on a sort of compass thing that tells you what direction
and how far away some major world cities are.

girlfriend Val who must have wondered off out of frame.
Anyway, This was taken in a river near Udine in Italy, on a really hot summer day.
But that water is really cold as I think it comes from melted snow from some Slovenian
Mountains...
